The fire hazard in which wind power plants are active and passive is at a level that cannot be underestimated. Due to the forest existence around the wind power plant, it creates a double-sided risk. This risk can be briefly summarized as the damage to the wind power plant as a result of the forest burning (for a reason other than the RES) or a fire in the forest areas due to a reason caused by the wind power plant.
After the fire hazard rating in the vicinity of the power plant, a risk prevention and active defense strategy can be planned by using the software developed to manage possible risks in the area and to minimize them as much as possible. As a result, it is necessary to determine the level of these risks and create a will to take the necessary measures in order to protect their own facilities and not to face high compensations in the investments made.
